Privacy Policy

What little we keep, and why.

Prayer Corner is a devotional app, and prayer is private. The app is built so that it works fully without an account, collects as close to nothing as we can manage, shows no ads, and sells nothing to anyone.

Without an account

Everything you write or set — journal entries, your prayer list, bells, and preferences — is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us and we cannot read it.

With an account

An account exists for one purpose: keeping your journal, prayer list, and a few preferences in sync across your devices. Creating one collects your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code and for nothing else — no newsletters, no marketing. Your synced content is stored on our database provider (Supabase) under access rules that make it readable only by your account. We do not read it, analyze it, or share it.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deletion is immediate and complete: the account and everything synced with it are removed from the server.

Usage data

The only measurement Prayer Corner makes is a daily count of how many people used each part of the app — a single number per feature per day, stored with no names, accounts, devices, or addresses attached. It cannot say who prayed, only that someone did. Nothing you read, write, or pray for is ever part of it. You can turn this off in Settings, under Usage Data.

Third parties

There are no third-party trackers, analytics, or advertising SDKs. Audio and video stream directly from each ministry's own servers (and, for Night Prayer, YouTube), which — like any web server — see the ordinary technical details of the request, under their own privacy policies. Scripture text is fetched from the Free Use Bible API.

Children

Prayer Corner is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone beyond what is described above.
